Please note that this ride is now closed to members and non-members who did not register by the event deadline.
The restaurant is not open to the public during the time we will be there. It is opening early only for our event and is being staffed based on the numbers of attendees provided by the ride organizers at the registration deadline.
We will not be able to add additional cars on the day of this ride even if not planning to stay for lunch.

ARRIVAL: Meet at 8:30am with a Drivers Meeting at 8:50 and leave by 9am.

WHERE TO MEET: Kwik Trip at the Albertville Shops exit Number 202. (6300 LABEAUX
AVE NE, Albertville, MN 55301) Driving north on 94 West take the Albertville exit, turn
right and Kwik Trip is immediately on your right.

1st HALF OF THE DRIVE: We will take the freeway to Monticello where we will go west
on some nice country roads and north towards Clearwater.

BREAK TIME: Break is at Kwik Trip (Again, where else?) Allow 20 minutes and we will be
on the road again.

2nd HALF OF THE DRIVE: We will continue west and north again and will drive some
enjoyable roads on the way to St John‘s College.

LUNCH: Lunch will be at the St John‘s cafeteria and we should get there
approximately 12 noon to 12:15pm. Lunch is $15.00 per person. Pay at the cashier as
you enter the cafeteria. After lunch you are on your own. Take a few minutes to check
out the beautiful church which is just a short walk from the cafeteria.

A GPS file will be on the website Thursday before the drive.

Upper St. Croix Valley Drive

This drive starts where the St. Croix Valley Drive left off. We will explore both sides of the beautiful St. Croix River above Taylor’s Falls. Join us for a casual Sunday drive with sweeping curves and views of the river.

Socializing starts at 10:00 am on Sunday, August 25, at the Chisago City Kwik Trip (11085 Lake Blvd, Chisago City, MN 55013). Driver’s meeting is at 10:20 am and the first group departs at 10:30 am.

Lunch will be catered by the Sir Smoke-a-Lot BBQ Pit Stop food truck at the St. Croix Falls, WI, Lion’s Park shelter at 809 N Hamilton St, St Croix Falls, WI 54024. You can select from the following limited menu at the food truck:

Pulled Pork Sandwich $ 7.75
Pulled Chicken Sandwich $ 7.00
Pork or Chicken Parfait $ 6.75
(Pork or Chicken, cheesy mashed potatoes, cheese, french fried onions)
Side Dishes small/ large
BBQ Baked Beans $ 2.00/$ 5.00
Homemade Cole Slaw $ 2.00/$ 5.00

Make it a combo: add 2 small sides, & a soft drink $ 6.00

If you have dietary restrictions that prevent ordering from this menu, you can bring a picnic lunch, but be aware that we have a minimum sales commitment.
Trash must be removed after lunch. The committee will provide trash bags for trash disposal and will handle removal.
Deadline for registration is Tuesday, August 20.

Board of Directors 2024 Holiday Brunch

We will be celebrating our 2024 Holiday Brunch at the Ridges At Sand Creek
21775 Ridges Dr, Jordan, MN 55352
Sunday, December 8th.

We have our own room reserved from 10am - 12pm. We‘ll be gathering for some socializing at 10:00am followed by the Ridges At Sand Creek brunch buffet with a Waffle bar, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon, cheesy potatoes, and fresh fruit. starting around 10:45am. Non-alcoholic beverages (soda, coffee, iced tea, lemonade) tax and gratuity are all included in the price of $24 per person. Please register and make your payment on the club’s website by November 29th.

Alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase on your own.

The Board of Directors has once again decided to support Ronald McDonald House Charities, Upper Midwest with a holiday collection at the brunch. Thank you to all who supported our collection last year! Gift cards and checks (payable to RMHC-UM) are most desired.
