About this event
Please join us on Saturday, August 15 for a touring drive to visit Park Place Storage (6605 Co Rd 19 Corcoran MN) to see an amazing car collection. This is a Cars and Coffee event and Open House at this auto storage facility. This is a public event and there will be a lot of the garages open so you can tour them at your leisure.
The start: Minnetonka Target Parking Lot, 4848 County Rd 101, Minnetonka, MN (NW corner of MN Hwy 7 & County Rd 101). Note that there are 2 Target Stores in Minnetonka - go to the correct one! See the Google Maps link below. Target has food, coffee, and restrooms, and gas is available at the nearby Speedway. A Google Maps location link is below. Please arrive by 8:30am. Our Driver's Meeting will be at 8:45am, and the first group will be departing at 9:00am.
The Drive: We will be traveling around Lake Minnetonka to the north side of Chaska and over to Waconia. We will continue through St Bonifacius and through Watertown on our way to a stop at the Speedway gas station in Orono for a bathroom break. After the break we will continue to Corcoran to the car collection. The drive should take approximately two hours.
The Car Collection & Lunch: Park Place Storage is hosting a public Cars and Coffee event and Open House. There will be a lot of the garages open so you can tour them at your leisure. A free catered lunch is provided by the event organizers. Lunch details are not known at this time, but last year's lunch was a barbecue sandwich, chips, and a drink.
Registration: Registration is free and is required to participate. Registration will close on August 7. If the event capacity has been filled, please complete the registration process to be put onto the waitlist. All groups will be driving at touring pace.
