About this event

Register now to enjoy one of the longest days of the year on a Miata drive from Hastings thru Cannon Falls to Wanamingo, MN! The drive has been revised from last year to include some new roads, sights and interesting food experiences.

The Start: We’ll be meeting at Coborn’s Grocery Store parking lot located at 225 33rd.St.W, Hastings, MN. See the Google Maps link below. Gas, food and restrooms are available. Drivers' Meeting will be at 9:15am with the lead group departing at 9:30am.

The Drive: Our ride will begin by heading south thru Welch (one of our favorite roads, Goodhue CR 7) with well-paved sweeping curves to a rest stop at Marathon Convenience Store in Cannon Falls. After the break we continue with more gorgeous, curvy roads. Cruising thru the countryside we’ll arrive in Wanamingo at approximately 12:00pm for a brief visit at Blondie’s Butcher Shop and then across the street for an “off-the-menu” lunch at JB’s Tavern.

The Lunch: JB's Tavern has a great lunch menu… the best BLT ever anywhere (just say'n)... plus great burgers etc. with shareable portions. They will have extra staff on hand for great service. See the menu and more on their FaceBook page .

Registration: Event registration opens May 20 and will close Wednesday, June 24. There is no fee to register for this event - just pay for your lunch (and whatever you find at Blondie's). Capacity is limited and a waitlist will be used if necessary. Please note the 2 questions in the registration process:
Touring Group: Please indicate if you wish to join the Touring Group for a more relaxed drive.
Lunch: We assume participants will be staying for lunch at JB's Tavern. But please indicate if you are NOT staying for lunch so we can advise the restaurant on how many to expect.
